Turn lead evidence into an ICP match
Compare one lead’s evidence with documented ICP rules, resolve a decisive gap, and propose the strongest eligible match for review.
Updated
Before you start
- What you need
- One lead's evidence, and your written ICP rules.
- Connector (MCP)
- Recommended. It reads the lead record and the ICP rules your team already keeps, instead of you assembling them per lead.
- Without a connector
- Paste the evidence you have on the lead and your ICP rules into the chat. The reasoning per lead is the same; the trigger, the schedule and the output destination are what you give up.
A connector, often called MCP, lets an assistant read your tools directly instead of you pasting. Set it up once, then it reads those tools on its own. How that is done differs per assistant, so check its own documentation.
How to try it
- Download the skill and unzip it. Inside are the instruction, the match template, and a page on loading it.
- If your assistant reads skills, copy the lead-icp-match folder into the place it reads them from. If it does not, use Copy as text instead. Either way it starts by asking you questions.
- Compare its match with the call you made, and read the reason it gives for each point.
- Check that eligibility is settled before any signal is weighed, and that what it could not establish is listed as unknown rather than counted against the lead.
- Run it on new leads. The decision stays yours.
Download to install it once. Copy to paste it into a chat.
